How to leave a legacy gift

Speak to your solicitor to include Invertebrates Australia in your will or add a codicil to an existing one.

Choose the type of gift that suits you best:

A specific sum of money
A percentage of your estate
The residue (what’s left after other gifts and expenses)
A gift of assets such as shares, property or superannuation

Our suggested wording

We can provide this to help make the process simple and legally clear, please see below. The following words are a guide only and subject to your solicitor’s advice:

“I hereby give, free of all duties or taxes, to Invertebrates Australia (ABN 76 654 304 337)

[Please insert here the appropriate statement selected from the 6 options below:]

the whole of my estate

the residue of my estate
